How much will it cost to ship my order?

If you live in the US or US territories: Non-VIP Orders under $29 will be charged a flat shipping rate of $4. Any such orders $29 over get free standard shipping, which typically takes 2-5 business days.

All US VIP orders ship for free. Just select the VIP option when you build your undershirt multi-pack or when you buy some of our much loved underwear. Orders $99 and over will receive free priority shipping.

If you are outside of the US: We’ll show you calculated shipping rates based on where you live and the weight of the order.

What shipping carriers do you use?

We primarily ship orders via USPS, FedEx and UPS.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do ship internationally and charge calculated shipping rates depending on where you live. Note that each country treats duties differently. You may be responsible for customs or duty fees on international shipments.

When will my order ship and when should I expect to receive it?

Orders placed on Monday – Friday by 2pm Eastern Time go out that day. Otherwise, they’ll go out the next business day. Shipping times vary by location, but US orders should generally arrive within 2-5 business days of your order. International orders can take up to two weeks but typically arrive within 7-10 days.


What is your return policy? 

Mr. Davis allows free returns and exchanges for unwashed and quickly tried-on undershirts within 100 days of purchase (US customers only). If you don’t love your first pair of underwear, we will ship you a new size/style or issue a refund. No return required. Besides your first pair of underwear, all other pairs must be returned unopened and in the original packaging. We cannot issue a refund for any underwear pairs that have been returned opened. We have to assume they have been tried on unless given prior approval by us.

  1. Before you return your item, you must contact us at to obtain approval for the return. If you send us a shirt without an official RA#, we will not be able to process your return.
  2. Upon approving your return, we’ll send you a prepaid shipping label via email including an RA#.
  3. You must ship your return to us within 5 days of receiving your label or we may not be able to process your return.
  4. Once we receive your item, we’ll process your return and refund your card for the original purchase price less any shipping cost. Shipping costs are only refunded for defective product received that is not replaced or for a lost order that is not being replaced.

Can I exchange items from my order? 

If you have issues with sizing or selection we provide FREE US shipping both way on exchanges of your order to get you in the right product. We use the same process we do for returns. We cannot exchange international orders at this time.

I think I received defective/wrong merchandise, what do I do?

Mr. Davis stands behinds the quality of its products and will happily replace products with manufacturing defects.

If you believe that you have received defective merchandise or were shipped incorrect merchandise (style, size, color), please notify us including a picture of the defect. In most cases we’ll be able to send out a replacement ASAP. Note that both undershirts and underwear eventually wear out, especially if you wash and dry them on warm. Our policy only covers actual defects, not wear and tear, but we will err on the customer’s side in these judgments. If you have questions about defective product, please contact us at

When will my return be refunded?

Once we have received your return, we will process your refund within 2 business days. We will inspect your returned item(s) and then contact you via email with the refund confirmation. Refunds may not show up on your card statement for up to four business days.

Can I return a sale item?

Mr. Davis doesn’t really have sales because we offer our best value pricing to every customer, every day. On some clearance items though, items marked final sale will be non-returnable.

Will your products shrink after washing?

If you follow our care instructions, Mr. Davis products will not shrink in any noticeable way, so we do not suggest ordering assuming shrinkage.

If you dry your shirts or underwear warm, you may see a little static shrinkage, but you’ll find that the fit doesn’t change much. We have found that our products wear a little longer if you don’t use warm wash and dry, which is why we suggest cold.


Why are Mr. Davis undershirts made out of bamboo viscose?

Because bamboo viscose is an awesome fiber. Technically, it’s one of the softest fabrics in the world. Combined with spandex, it stretches to make you feel like you’re not wearing an undershirt. Further, it wears cooler than cotton and wicks moisture off your body to make you more comfortable. Environmentally, we believe bamboo is a better product than cotton. Unlike cotton, which requires massive amounts of water to grow, bamboo requires almost no irrigation. And while there is some physical and chemical processing required to weave bamboo into cloth, it grows so fast that it’s sustainable.

Why do Mr. Davis Shirts cost more than normal undershirts?  

Because we use fabrics of exceptionally high quality, and those cost more to acquire! The main downside to bamboo is that it’s an expensive fabric – significantly more expensive than the types of fabric your favorite athletic apparel manufacturers use for their technical gear (and certainly more than the raspy cottons used in your standard white tee) – but we’ve offset that expense with a commitment to fair margins and by selling directly to you to eliminate unnecessary markup.

What are the care instructions for your undershirts?

We recommend that you wash on cold, dry cool or hang dry.


What size should I order?

Getting you in the right fit is our utmost priority.

Undershirts: If you are lean or on the border of the size chart featured on our undershirt page, or if you just prefer a more snug fit, you can size down. If you want or need a bit more room or want more of a classic t-shirt fit, go with the Traditional. If you have a more athletic build or like a shirt with a bit of taper, go Tailored.


Our underwear is meant to be snug to provide enough support and lift to keep your softer parts separated from the rest of you. The size chart on our underwear page offers more sizing specifics.

What is the VIP Membership Program?

Mr. Davis is all about optimizing our cost structure to deliver value to you, and one of the best ways we can do that is by being able to predict future orders. When you become a Mr. Davis VIP, you’ll be set up to automatically receive your selections on a fixed interval. This allows us to better guess how much product we need to make ahead of time, which means we can save money. We pass that savings on to you in the form of a big discount. To become a VIP, just select “Subscribe” when you place your order.

Note: when you add multiple products to a VIP shipment, you will be set up to receive the first pair of underwear and the first undershirt style you selected in the future. If you want to modify this you can go to at any time to do so.

As long as you maintain active VIP membership (and you skip shipments as often as you like), you’ll be locked into your original pricing. Even if prices go up in the future, you’ll still get the same rate.

What if I’m not ready for new shirt(s)? 

Not a problem! We’ve made the program really easy to tune to your personal needs.  A week or so before we ship any membership shirts to you, we’ll send you an email to let you know they’re on their way.  If you’re not ready, just click the “SNOOZE” button in the email and we’ll delay your shipment by two months. You can press snooze as many times as you like.

How can I cancel my VIP Membership? 

The best thing to do is to Pause your VIP membership.  That gives you all of the benefits of canceling without losing VIP status.

The easiest way pause is to log in to your account at  From there click on the VIP Settings tab and you can snooze, pause or cancel any active memberships.

If you don’t want to do this yourself, you can send an email to telling us you want to cancel or pause membership and we will take care of it for you.

We strongly dislike membership programs that rely on the pain of cancelation to make money. You’ll receive an email confirmation of cancelation. Note: you may lose access to your grandfathered pricing if you cancel your VIP Membership and prices increase.
